Shinta Mani Hotel

Shinta Mani is a Sanskrit phrase meaning “The gem that provides everything one desires.” The hotel, located in Siem Reap, offers Masters in Residence programs which feature courses of instruction in fields such as photography, yoga, tai, chi, meditation, holistic treatments, and the performing arts. The hotel also is the site of a youth vocational training program for the hospitality industry.

The hotel also offers an outdoor pool and a restaurant with an emphasis on fresh, organic local or imported foods. The Sanctuary Spa provides a variety of body treatments, including wraps and massage. The hotel also provides a complimentary a la carte breakfast.

The hotel has 18 guestrooms on two floors. Bedding includes high quality cotton duvets and feather pillows. Rooms have sofa beds. The 323-square-foot rooms include complimentary wireless Internet access, bathrobes, slippers, complimentary bottled water, minibars, and refrigerators. Rooms also include incense burners, swimming towels, and shoe bags. Décor is contemporary with clean lines and Asian accents. There are no elevators; however, the rooms listed (Superior Room) are on the first floor.
